Hello readers!! What a great day to start writing a new posting! I'm Putri, your author for today's blog. Basically last Wednesday which is on 14 December 2022, UKM has held an opening ceremony for Sukan Antara Kolej Peringkat Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (SUKEM) at Stadium UKM. Thus, today's story gonna be different from my previous blog because I'm going to tell you guys, my beloved readers about my experience there. There's parade competition from each college but WITH THEIR OWN IDEA AND CREATIVITY and more! Isn't it exciting?!
I first saw the posting about that event at UKM's group telegram and without taking time to think, I decided to go for that event with Aida and Nureen. I've also been called by my Citra's lecture to comes to enliven the ceremony. Then, I prepare myself at college while wearing Kolej Keris Mas's jersey to go to the Stadium UKM. The orange and black ones edition which like the picture below 😆

After I get ready, on my way to the bus stop, my friends Hanis which also my neighbor scolded me by asking where I was going. I saw her wearing Kolej Keris Mas's new jersey which is KKM supporter's jersey. Then, I remembered that I also bought that jersey because we need to wear it on the opening and closing ceremony of SUKEM. I didn't wear it cause I thought that jersey distribution are going to be late. But after saw her, I wonder why I haven't get that shirt yet. That time, my face was so confuse and did not answered her questions 😆 She also asked me whether I'm going to the Stadium to or not and why I'm wearing the black and orange jersey instead of the KKM supporter's jersey. Suddenly she laughed, while I'm running back to my room back 😂 I don't know why I found this funny too 😂
After that, I opened Kolej Keris Mas's Telegram incase I missed any news or updates about that jersey's distribution. Then, actually that jersey was already been distribute on 13 December 2022 (Tuesday) at Timbalan Pengetua's Room (In front of KKM's mosque). I told Nureen about it and ran to Aida's room to tell her about it cause we all wearing the wrong jersey 😂 Aida quickly call person in charge to asked them if we can still take our jersey at last minute. Alhamdulillah, she gave us to take it. Then we go to Timbalan Pengetua's Room (In front of KKM's mosque) to take our jersey and change it immediately.

Next, we walked from our college to Stadium UKM since we live nearby to that Stadium. Alhamdulillah we manage to get there before the event start. I was so excited actually plus my friend, Ain represent her college, Kolej Aminuddin Baki for the parade too! I'm so proud! The opening ceremony was further enlivened with a respectful parade from each college contingent, a burnfire flame and torch run as a symbol of the opening and the recitation of the championship pledge.

At last we were so tired even though we didn't join the parade 😂 I had a chance to take a picture of myself and together with Ain, Aida and Nureen. The face of your author for the whole workmatesstories's blog!! Right after that, it rained. we ran to college while it's raining. Can you imagine that? 😂💦 Alhamdulillah, we arrived safely.

To conclude today's story, I'm so happy attending that event. Get to watched all of the performance especially. Palpitations are felt more and more cause I represent my college for SUKEM for Olahraga. May Allah make things easier for me. Amin ya Mujib.
