MEET & GREET Management Club

Image
Assalamualaikum and hello 😙 Ain here. I had joined an activity named 'explorace' which was held by the Management Club under the Faculty of Economics and Management. The activity began early in the morning. When I reached the place, I registered myself for the activity and got a bread and a drink for breakfast. Then, all participants need to gather, and we were divided into groups. However, the method of dividing the group was different and interesting. Why? We received a piece of paper, and on the paper it stated the name of the group, such as Ular, Burung, Harimau etc. We had to find our team member who has the same group name by not making any sounds 😱😮 So, we had to mimic the action like a bird, snake, tiger, etc. The situation was a bit chaotic, although we didn't make any sounds. My group is Burung. In my group, there were 8 members, all girls. To be honest, I was initially skeptical of my team. You know, because all girls. But I underestimated girls' power. I ...

Highlight of the Majlis Apresiasi Watan (MAW)

Hello! It's me, Ain. Remember my last post that I said I will share about DECTAR War? Yes, in this entry, I will share my experience and share my story.  Basically, DECTAR war is a chant and cheers by students that represent their college. Each college has their own chant and cheers. So, each college must do the chant and cheers as loud as they can to compete with other colleges. The college that cheers the loudest and holds out the longest will be crowned winner. Before the real 'war', we were trained to do the chant and cheers by the facilitators. We did it so many times to make it perfect and synchronized. At first, I feel like it was hard to memorize the lyrics and the gestures but at the end, I managed to do it!  On the last day of orientation week, also known as Minggu Apresiasi Watan, we did the DECTAR war. it was the final chant and cheers I can say 😂. Magically, I got a very strong spirit to do the chant for the war. I was so excited and extremely energetic that...

Represent College for SUKEM 🏃‍♀️

Image
Hello guys!! Welcome back to our blog! Its me Putri again 👀💕 So, last week me and Aida went to Stadium Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia for olahraga selection which to represent our college for Kejohanan Sukan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (SUKEM).  I go for 100m, 200m, 4x100 and long jump for the selection. Truth to be told, actually I wasn't ready for the selection cause the last time I joined this sports was in high school and it was a long time ago. I'm afraid my stamina is not strong as it used to be plus I have gained weight a lot 😂 I once represent my school in Majlis Sukan Sekolah Daerah Hulu Langat (MSSDHL) in Olahraga. And guess what?! that event was held at this stadium too. I really wanted to share a picture of me when I was here back then. But it's okay, I also choose not to look at my childhood face 😂 Back to the story, during the run, our time is recorded by the referee to determine whose time is the shortest to represent our college. For real, I cannot be...

My favourite places to eat and favourite food in UKM

Image
Assalamualaikum and hello! Welcome back to Ain's post 😘So for this post, I will talk about may favorite places to eat in UKM.  First and foremost, I am staying at Kolej Aminuddin Baki. Yes, it is very near to my faculty which I am grateful for that. However, in life, there will always be pro and cons as life is not perfect. Relating to this title, even though my hostel is very near to my faculty, but the cafeteria is not as nice as the other colleges. My cafeteria is not as big as the other colleges and even being called 'mini cafeteria' due to renovation. As a consequence of that, the choices of the meal/foods are very limited. As a picky eater, it is very hard for me to enjoy the food😂😅. Moreover, the taste of the food is inconsistent. To overcome this 'problem', I decided to go to another place, which is go to other colleges to try their food.  After trying other places, Kolej Pendeta Za'aba, Kolej Ungku Omar, Bookworm cafe , RICHIAMO and Hot Meal Bar are ...

Last Day of MAW at DECTAR UKM ✨

Image
Hi guys! It's me Putri again 🤪 Finally on 12 October 2022!!! It's mark the last day of MAW. Honestly,  it is a whole week of challenge. I only slept for a maximum of 4 hours if I were lucky and nothing else more than that 😭 This made me feel a little nostalgic too because I had to go through the same ordeal back when I was in Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Shah Alam doing my diploma. I went through more and less than this previously.  Despite not getting enough sleep, I gain a lot of knowledge about this University. Thought that if I hadn't attend the talks, I thought I might be loss and clueless. Most of the talk includes the facilities, faculties, rules and more. I've also got inspired a lot by the talk especially when there's my cousin as Icon UKM who giving the talk to us 😍 Someday I wish to be like him.  Lastly, after  all the swear, blood and tears, I discover a whole new side to me that I've never seen before. I am much braver, high-spir...

How my first week in UKM was like

Image
Assalamualaikum and hi! I'm Ain. As the title above, I will talk about my first week experience in UKM.  Before entering UKM, I had mixed feelings. I felt sad, happy, excited etc. As soon as I arrived, I felt blessed to be a part of the students at UKM. On the first day in UKM, there was nothing much to share, we only had some briefings and introductions for the next day. Anyway, I felt lonely on my first day in UKM as I don't have a roommate yet 😢My roommate is a second-year student, so she came back to UKM a week after my orientation. Somehow, I enjoyed it because I had some time alone (me time😂) On the second day and third day, we have been given various information about UKM such as student affairs, library, health centre, academic centre, faculty and many more. I got a chance to see a few lecture halls, gained information about the faculty, courses etc. I feel motivated and excited to begin my studies here. In the evening, I had college activities. We were divided into a...

My freetime!

Image
It's been already three weeks I'm in UKM. In the weekend, I'll go outing with my roommate and my friends to buy things that we need. We always went to Bangi Gateway because it is the nearest shopping place and it has many small vendor that sells many things.  Last weekend, we accidentally found a perfume boutique locatednnear the Bangi Gateway.  Guess what? Of course I asked my friend to enter the store to try new scents and try to find a new perfume for me. After an hour of trying and smell almost all the scents, finally I chose a dupe perfume for YSL Black Opium which quite suits for me. I really suggested you to try perfume from this brand because the scents of the perfume was 99% same with the original 🥹❤️ So don’t forget to buy yourself perfume that you like!

STORY TIME ABOUT ORIENTATION WEEK...

Image
Hi, I'm back! So, the next story that I want to share is about my experience in UKM during orientation week.💃💫 Starting from the day of the registration day, at that evening, all of new students from Kolej Keris Mas (KKM) need to gather awhile at Dewan Kolej Keris Mas to listen the briefing about the activities with college on that night. The activities on that night are familiarization session with facilitator.  What a lots of fun things on the session. They love to joking around and so cheerful. I'm enjoyed laughing and have fun too. After that, all facilitator show and teach us how to do "college cheers". The cheers represented as a symbol to give support to each other and also towards our beloved college. The moment when they do college cheers, somehow I just can feel their energy because they do it together simultaneously and also with enthusiastic voices. Honestly, it makes me a little bit goosebumps. When its time for us to do the cheers, we feel a little awk...

Hello and assalamualaikum readers!!  It's Putri here. I'm back! Hehe  😝  Today's stories, I wanted to tell you guys about my first day in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, so here goes! Starting university may be a very intimidating experience, and feelings are frequently high. While we're living the time of your life, we're also probably moving away from home, so you'll undoubtedly feel a mix of emotions. But luckily I live in Bangi and study also in Bangi 😂🫶🏻 Well, I can go back home every time I want 😝 Checkout my video below to see me temporarily separated from the family 😂⬇️ I arrived late cause I thought I will made it before 4:00pm. But I arrived at 4:15pm like that and I was so rush while unpacking my stuff in to my new room because we had programs at 5:00pm. Eventho in rush, I still had time to visit Aida's room just one floor below my room 😂 Aida is my closest friends during my diploma at Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah and until ...
